March 6, 2017 (Los Angeles) - The Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of REALTORS® (BH/GLAAR) voted to support candidates in Los Angeles, West Hollywood, and Beverly Hills who share their vision of increased stock in affordable housing throughout Los Angeles County.

BH/GLAAR voted to support incumbents John Duran and John Heilman in the City of West Hollywood, as well as Frances Bilak, Nancy Krasne and Eliot Finkel in Beverly Hills.

The 9,000 plus member REALTOR® Association took a strong stance in the City of Los Angeles against Measure S, which would have a disastrous impact on affordable housing stock in the City. The Association also took stances on the following races in Los Angeles:

Mayor: Eric Garcetti

City Controller: Ron Galperin

Council District 1: Gil Cedillo

Council District 5: Paul Koretz

Council District 9: Curren Price

Council District 11: Mike Bonin

Council District 13: Mitch O’Farrell

Council District 15: Joe Buscaino

The battle for increased housing stock has been fierce in Los Angeles, which is why BH/GLAAR has taken a leading role in supporting No on Measure S.

Finally, the association voted to support Yes on Measure H, a quarter cent sales tax to fund homeless supportive services Countywide.
