July 2, 2018 (Los Angeles) - Thank you to all who voted in our annual Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of REALTORS® (BH/GLAAR) elections. We had a strong voter turnout of 1,397 members (or 14% of our membership), which was on par with our past elections. Thank you also to all of the candidates that put forth their names and were willing to serve, it will take all of us fighting for a fairer and more ethical industry to accomplish our goals.

 

Ryan Ole Hass won his race to become President and Pat Heller won her race to become Treasurer, both ran unopposed.

Ten candidates ran for four Board positions this year at the Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of REALTORS® (BH/GLAAR). The four winning candidates will serve a two year term on our sixteen member Board. Congratulations to winning candidates John Barrentine, Anne Russell, Billy Jack Carter and Stacy Harris-Green!

Finally, because Pat Heller was serving as a Board of Director but will need to vacate her seat to assume the position of Secretary, our Bylaws dictate that the runner-up will serve out the remainder of her term (which ends in 2019). The winner of that seat was Tom Swanson.
